Beware of Scams!

Fraud alert — please read

We’ve been made aware of fake websites copying our vacuum cleaners and branding. These imitation sites are not authorised and may sell poor-quality or unsafe products. To avoid being scammed, please buy only from our official website or trusted retailers. Don’t be misled by fake copies — protect yourself and your home.

We have identified a network of fraudulent websites falsely trading under our name. The main site currently in operation is valocleans.co.uk (note the extra “s”). Their original domain, valoclean.co.uk (no “s”), was suspended by the service provider due to fraudulent activity. The same group has since created a series of copycat domains following the pattern valoclean-<countrycode>.com — for example valoclean-se.com, valoclean-de.com and valoclean-au.com — i.e. “valoclean” plus a hyphen and a country code.

Below are the clumsy, tell-tale signs we’ve observed on these scam sites:

1. No visible logo or favicon. The site appears to have no logo or site icon — either it was rushed online or the operator is deliberately hiding its identity. The logo sometimes exists in the page as text but has been hidden from view (it can only be revealed by manually selecting/dragging the page).

 

2. Footer language mismatch. The footer contains text in languages for other countries that do not match the site’s claimed locale.

 

3. Inconsistent contact details. The listed contact email belongs to a different domain, not the one shown on the site.

 

4. Poor media signals. Video uploads use a default avatar (the letter “W”), and product logos shown in videos are from another brand.

 

5. Fabricated founder story. The site publishes an obviously invented company/founder biography.

 

6. Upon closer inspection of the scam site’s reviews:

How to protect yourself

• Only buy from our official website or from retailers listed on our official retailer page.
• Always check the domain carefully (one wrong letter or an extra “s” can indicate a fake shop).
• Use secure payment methods (credit card or PayPal); avoid direct bank transfers.

Important: Airvax is our only official brand. Any website not listed on our official site is unauthorised. If you spot another suspicious website, please forward screenshots and the URL to us via the contact form on our official website so we can investigate.
